ATG appoints Access Accounting MD to its Board of Directors

Access Technology Group (ATG) has appointed Managing Director for Access Accounting, John Beech to its Board of Directors. The privately owned parent company unveiled plans last year to create a mergers & acquisitions team as part of aggressive growth plans to double turnover to £30m by 2010. In recent months Beech has worked as special advisor to the company but will now take up his new role as Director.
Alistair O’Reilly, Group Managing Director for ATG, commented, “As part of our continuing plan to develop our Board of Directors, I am delighted to announce that John has been invited to join the Group Board with immediate effect. John has been working closely with us for the past few months as a special advisor on some of the current Group projects.”
John will continue in his position as Managing Director of Access Accounting and brings a wealth of experience to his new position on the Group Board. He originally joined Access Accounting in 1991 as Customer Services Director, where his broad-reaching role included quality assurance, support and product management. Previously the owner of an IT company providing accounting software, hardware and maintenance services, his professional experience spans almost every area of business - from software design and engineering through to customer service, marketing and sales.
In January 2006, he was named Managing Director for Access Accounting, assuming full responsibility for the running of the business and now leads a team of 130. In his new role on the ATG Board, Beech will form part of the leadership team that is working to deliver on the Group’s long term plan.
