By Road
From the M62 West
From the M62 travelling towards Leeds, depart at Junction 23 and follow the signs for Huddersfield on the A640. Upon nearing Huddersfield follow the signs for the Ring Road, M1 and Sheffield. At the roundabout (near Sainsbury's) take the A629 out of town towards Sheffield. After a few miles there is a fork in the road where the A642 begins, take the A642 (signposted for Wakefield and Barnsley).
Follow this road for a few miles until you see a signpost for Emley (to the right) on the crest of a steep hill. Turn here and follow the country lane for a few miles until you get to a T junction very close to the base of the Emley television transmitter. Turn left at the T junction heading towards Emley. Phillips House is about 500 metres down this road on the right.
From the M62 East
From the M62 travelling towards Manchester, join the M1 south board and depart at Junction 39. Follow the A636 towards Huddersfield to the roundabout at Midgley. From the Midgley roundabout follow the A636 on towards Denby Dale. Take the first road on the right (signposted for Emley), and follow it for a few miles towards the centre of Emley. Go straight on through Emley and just after the entrance for the Emley business park, on the left, is the entrance for Phillips House.
From the M1 North or South
When travelling south bound on the M1 depart at Junction 39 and follow the A636 towards Huddersfield to the roundabout at Midgley. When travelling north bound on the M1 depart at Junction 38 and follow the A637 towards Huddersfield until you get to the same roundabout at Midgley. From the Midgley roundabout follow the A636 on towards Denby Dale. Take the first road on the right (signposted for Emley), and follow it for a few miles towards the centre of Emley. Go straight on through Emley and just after the entrance for the Emley business park, on the left, is the entrance for Phillips House.
By Rail
The nearest mainline station for trains travelling from London and Edinburgh is Wakefield Westgate which is around 15 minutes away by car. Local trains use Huddersfield Station, 20 minutes away by car.
