Assured Technologies works directly with the three top semiconductor suppliers in the UK – Hyundai, Samsung, and LG Semicon. Trading since 1992, Assured deals exclusively with the distribution and assembly aspects of the semiconductor market. Its annual turnover for 1996/7 was $25M and the forecast for 1997/8 is $30M.

The need for more detailed reports brought Assured to Access Accounting. “We need to distribute stock sheets to our staff every morning and with the Reports Module we can print out up-to-the-minute information daily from the standard software which gives us information in exactly the format that we need it,” said Technical Manager Paul Tsang.

“With Access we just enter one code and it will tell us the size, memory, speed and manufacturer’s part number for an item. Therefore if we have a customer on the phone and they are not exactly sure of the part they want I can match their requirements on the spot.”
